Guitar Weekly: Online Guitar Lessons Every Monday
Guitar Weekly is my project for guitarists who want something new to work on every week and a practice rhythm that holds up to real life. Every Monday a Weekly Thread drops: three musical ideas built around a monthly theme, each with a video walkthrough, interactive tabs, a backing track and the PDFs you need. Pick one idea, play for as long as you have, and that counts.
What a Weekly Thread is
No two guitar players live the same life. Your schedule is different, your goals are different, and the way you learn is not the same as anyone else's. So practice should not look identical for everyone.
Each week, members get three musical ideas to explore. You can start with any one. Play for as long or as short as you want. If you only touch one idea in a week, that is still progress. No timers, no rigid practice circuits, no guilt.
Guitar Weekly focuses on fewer songs, so you can play them confidently, understand them musically and carry those skills forward. It is not about speed or shredding. It is about playing better music.
Every Weekly Thread includes
- Three musical ideas built around a monthly theme, so every session has direction
- Video walkthroughs that break down each idea so you can see and hear how it works
- Interactive Soundslice tabs you can slow down, loop and learn at your own speed
- Backing tracks and supporting PDFs, so you practice with real context
- A clear weekly focus that tells you what to work on and why it matters
Beyond the threads, a resource library adds songs, musical studies and play-along material that reinforce what you are learning each month.
Who Guitar Weekly is for
- Beginners who are past the basics and want structure
- Intermediate players who feel stuck or unfocused
- Guitarists who want steady progress without feeling overwhelmed
- Anyone who wants to play real music, not run through drills
How my students use it between lessons
A weekly lesson is one hour out of seven days. Guitar Weekly fills some of the other six. Lesson students use the Monday thread as something to touch on the days we do not meet, the library for play-along material on the songs we are working on, and the whole thing as a reason to pick the guitar up on a schedule.
It is a supplement, not a replacement. Lessons are where we work on you. Guitar Weekly is where you keep the rhythm going in between.
